These boots are a great deal. They are waterproof (I've tested) and very comfy. There is quite a bit of padding, which threw me off a bit honestly; after a couple minutes wearing them though, I loved the extra cushiness. I've been wearing them for hiking and rainy days only for 2 months and they are great! still look and feel brand new. I have the 400 gram thinsulate and couldn't take any more heat. These are great for below 65F, but get warm after that. All that being said, they aren't going to hold up like a pair of Danners. These will be my weekend warrior boots for probably somewhere close to 12-16 months, if I had to guess. ...
